1942 Dodge WC56 Command Car 3/4 ton. It runs and stops fine. It is a parade quality vehicle, not a show piece. Zenith carb was rebuilt by Vintage Powerwagons. The gas tank has been boiled and sealed, the brake shoes and wheel cylinders are recent. The truck is fitted with an ancient set of very rare Dualmatic single-lever locking hubs. It always starts right up. It has some leaky seals so it spots the garage floor with gear oil, but nothing too tragic. It has a Federal siren which is all sorts of loud. In the years I have had it I have never driven it out of town....the tires would need to be balanced for anything over about 40mph. It has a Beachwood top, and somewhere I think I have the door frames. It is a 1942, but is titled as a 1944,and has a clear Oregon title. I might be interested in a part trade up or down for another military vehicle....but it has to fit in my garage. M422, M151, M114, Ferret, WC53, Haflinger, whatever.
$25,000
I am pretty good about staying on top of my web site, so if you see this ad, the truck is still for sale.
